Terms and Conditions of Enrolment

SAE UK and ICMP operate as trading names of ICMP Management Limited (“ICMP Management”). References to ICMP Management throughout page incorporate both SAE UK and/or ICMP, according to the context.

ICMP Management takes great care to ensure that our Terms and Conditions (T&Cs) of enrolment are consistent with both the law and sector best practice. It is essential therefore that you read and understand the full T&C’s before you make a commitment to enrolling on an SAE programme.

Our Student Terms and Conditions can be found by clicking the appropriate link below. Please refer to the year at which you entered or are entering SAE.

We recommend all students download and save a copy of the relevant Terms and Conditions for your year of entry. However, the documents will be available here for reference throughout your studies.

T&C’s – A Student Guide

We understand that these T&Cs are extensive, so we have produced this overview to help you understand the commitment. Should you have any questions, please contact the  Admissions and Recruitment team by email ukadmissions@sae.edu or by phoning  03330112315

INTRODUCTION

By accepting a place to study with us, you enter into a legally binding contract with ICMP Management. Full details of this commitment are contained in our full T&Cs, which you will be formally asked to agree to before starting your studies. Amongst other things, the T&Cs detail your contractual rights and obligations, along with those of SAE.

ENROLMENT AND THE AGREEMENT BETWEEN US

Once you have firmly accepted our offer and all conditions are met, you will be invited to an Onboarding event at which time you will be asked to formally agree to the T&Cs. Upon our confirmation that you have satisfactorily completed this, to include an agreement that your fees will be paid in full, a binding contractual agreement will then be in place between us. This agreement is made up of the T&Cs together with your admissions offer and the Student Refund Policy. In addition to this, we strongly advise that you familiarise yourself with the following policies before registering:

All policies can be found on our Policies and Procedures page.

IF YOU CHANGE YOUR MIND ABOUT THE PROGRAMME

You have the legal right to cancel the contractual agreement between us during the “Cooling Off period” – this means within 14 days from the start of the teaching week. We will refund any tuition fees already paid to us by you or any financial sponsor. Any refund payable to you under this clause will be paid within 14 days of you cancelling the agreement. If you wish to withdraw after the cooling off period, please ensure you speak with a member of the Admissions and Recruitment team by email ukadmissions@sae.edu or by phoning  03330112315

Onboarding

Once you have firmly accepted our offer and met all conditions, you will receive an email with a pre-enrolment link inviting you to register for your programme. Once your pre-enrolment is complete, you will be able to book and attend an Onboarding event, during which you will be asked to formally agree to the Terms and Conditions.

PAYING YOUR TUITION FEES

Programme tuition fees are detailed on our domestic fees page and international fees page (and are confirmed in your Admissions offer and Fees and Funding letter. To accept your place, or continue your studies, we require that tuition fees for the academic year are paid in full at least 30 days before the start of the academic year. The only exceptions to this are:

  • if you require a CAS to study in the UK on a Student visa, a non-refundable tuition fee deposit, as outlined in the Terms and Conditions must be paid before your CAS can be issued, with the remaining fees expected at least 30 days before the start of the academic year.
  • students who can demonstrate to our satisfaction that tuition fees will be paid by Student Finance England/Wales/NI/SAAS; or
  • exceptionally, where we permit fees to be paid by instalments or by other means.

Where tuition fees are not paid on time, we may impose a number of sanctions up to and including termination of our contractual agreement and thus your studies at ICMP.

IF YOU WANT TO TRANSFER PROGRAMME OR WITHDRAW

After completing Onboarding and starting your studies, if you decide you wish to transfer programme or withdraw from SAE,  you should refer to the Student Withdrawal and Intermission Policy or Student Transfer Policy.

RIGHT TO STUDY IN THE UK

SAE has a legal obligation to ensure all students have the right to study in the UK so we may request documents and information from you to ensure we are meeting our obligations.

The T&Cs detail that students studying in the UK on a Student visa may be subject to additional requirements or limitations, for example a required level of attendance or limitations around programme transfers or intermittences. Students studying on a Student visa are encouraged to discuss any changes to their programme with the Visa Compliance Team, studentcompliance@icmp.ac.uk

Thank you for taking the time to read this and the full T&Cs document. We look forward to helping you achieve your creative goals by enrolling on a Programme at SAE UK, but it is important that you fully understand what you will be committing to. If you need further advice or clarification, please contact our Admissions and Recruitment team by email ukadmissions@sae.edu or by phoning  03330112315
