Recording & Production Workshop

Join us in this workshop, designed for Audio Production students, and record acoustic guitar, piano and vocals. This session will take place in our Liverpool SSL campus studio with our esteemed tutor Jon Withnall, who will teach you basic recording setups, mic selection and placement, signal routing and mixing tips.
About Jon
Jon is a highly experienced music industry professional who has worked in the music industry for the past 25 years. His roles and achievements include - production, engineering, songwriting, multi-instrumentalist, mixing, Dolby Atmos mixing, artist management and label manager.
He has signed artists to both small and majors players. Jon has amassed 25 billion streams and 7 Grammy and 5 Brit winning projects. He has done studio work with the likes of “Coldplay, Rihanna, Feeder, Skin, The Coral, Gill Scott Heron, John Smith, Hannah Peel, Louis Berry, Lois levin, Rob Vincent” and many many more..
