Welcome to SAE Institute, and to the first day of your creative future. These initial steps are huge ones and we’re honoured that you’ve chosen us to help you on your way.

During your time with us you will expand your imagination, hone your skills, embark on exciting projects and ultimately make your ideas a reality. Our staff are experts in their respective fields and have first-hand knowledge of life in the industry.

There are always a variety of events and opportunities for creative collaboration at SAE. You can:

  • Attend SAE Extra talks and learn from industry experts - SAE regularly invites guest speakers to deliver informative, engaging sessions to students either at our campuses or via videolink. Some of the speakers we have had in the past include Game of Thrones director Jeremy Podeswa, Bonobo drummer Jack Baker, Grammy award-winning engineer James Auwarter, and Escape from Pretoria Director Francis Annan, whose latest film stars Harry Potter actor Daniel Radcliffe.
  • Become a specialist in your field with access to Education & Bass, an online education platform with specialist music tutorials, and LinkedIn Learning, which has lots of resources for Audio and Film professionals. You will be able to sign up to both services once enrolment is complete and you have an SAE Institute email address set up.
  • Once the COVID-19 pandemic is over, you will be able to get hands-on experience at a local event - SAE London are education partners with London Music Conference, one of the UK’s biggest electronic music events and earlier this year students were able to attend the event for free.
  • You will also have lots of opportunities to get involved with each other’s projects - Audio and Film students regularly collaborate on the SAE Live Lounge which is a great way to practice working to a professional brief and there are also opportunities to work across the other disciplines SAE teaches.
