Students give valuable feedback on their experience

02 May 2018

Over the last few months The National Student Survey (NSS) has been canvassing the thoughts and feelings of SAE’s final-year students. An annual survey distributed to final-year undergraduates across the UK, the NSS captures honest feedback about thousands of degree programmes across the UK’s many universities.

Having opened earlier this year, the NSS has been a fantastic opportunity for everyone at SAE to listen, reflect and embark on positive changes so that we continue to provide leading education and strive for excellence. One significant positive that came from the NSS, was that our participate rate increased to 70% this year. We are grateful to every student that took the time to complete the survey in order to both commend the hard work of our staff but also improve the experience of future students.

Congratulations to SAE London 2nd year Audio Production student Billy Stewart who was selected at random as the winner of the iPad for taking part in the NSS survey this year. Billy commented:

“It was important to take part to review the student satisfaction but also it is important for SAE’s development to ask students what can be improved. I did not know about the prize so I was really surprised seeing that I am a winner.”

Saad Qureshi, Dean, SAE Institute UK commented:

“Congratulations to Billy on winning the iPad. It’s great that so many students participated in the National Student Survey (NSS) as it informs how we teach at SAE. We eagerly await the results to be released in August. We have just appointed a new national Student Experience Manager who will develop a plan based on the student feedback from the NSS and from other sources including our internal trimester surveys. Our aim is to achieve the highest student satisfaction and to work in partnership with students to shape the future of SAE.”
