If you’re an early or mid-career creative media industries professional keen to boost your career or take it in a new direction, our postgraduate degree can help get you there. Whatever your creative industries sector – music business, audio production, marketing, film production, games, animation or web development – you’ll have the opportunity to critically reflect on areas of interest through creative media projects of your choosing.

100% FLEXIBLE: LOCATION
Our postgraduate program is fully online, fully remote, meaning you can study anywhere in the world. But don’t worry; you’ll still get the opportunity to network and connect with other fellow students. Every trimester, we host a conference – open to the students and also staff – where you’ll be able to present your work and also know about other people’s projects, creating meaningful connections with creatives from all over the globe!
IT’s YOUR JOURNEY
Here at SAE, we co-create a bespoke Master’s journey for every single student that joins the programme. Following some assessments, we design a research project specifically for you, relying on the framework that we developed over the years, meaning you can choose exactly what you want to study. In short, anything is really possible on this programme!
The course is offered on a full-time (1 year) or part-time basis (2 years), and we can also discuss switching from one to the other in due course to make sure you can carry on with your other career endeavours.

INDUSTRY RESEARCH PROJECTS
EXAMPLE: SONARWORKS
We recently teamed up with Latvia’s Sonarworks, the world’s largest audio calibration company, to work on some exciting, cutting-edge research. Our first collaborative research project began in September 2024, with the results due to be published at the end of 2025.
Our collaboration with Sonarworks continues as they look to engage more students in their audio calibration software research and its utility in mastering music.

The course is also suited those without an undergraduate degree, yet who have 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
Our PGCert programme cam be studied full-time over four months, or part-time over eight months.
