Young SAE filmmaker on the road to success

15 Dec 2016

He hasn’t yet graduated, but SAE Film student Stefan Louca is beginning his career in fine style, shooting for luxury brands, filming in Europe and working with the international video production company, Timecode Pro.

Stefan was snapped up by Timecode Pro as a freelancer, after producing a range of high-quality films across the UK and Europe.

His most recent work, for the luxury brand La Perla, involved filming the worldwide launch of their new window display and he has just wrapped filming with recent X Factor winner Louisa Johnson who was opening the new M&M’S® World store in London.

“We filmed the short promo for La Perla in Belgravia, which we had to film, edit and supply all in one day.”

The shoot follows a stint in the south of Spain, where Stefan was commissioned by food blogger FeedTim to produce a series of Youtube videos.

“The food blogger, who goes under the name FeedTim contacted me. I was still at uni working on my dissertation, and he asked if I’d travel over to Andalusia for a week to produce five videos including a teaser. The first episode has just been released and the others will shortly follow.”

Stefan has been studying at SAE’s Oxford campus, while also working for the Twinwood Music Festival as a camera operator and editor. Other work the 21 year-old has produced includes the opening video for the new Carluccio’s restaurant in London.
