Bio
Geoffrey is an experienced educator and games programmer.
His development experience is primarily in Virtual Reality, and his academic research focuses on Co-creation communities. Currently at SAE UK London leading the Games and Web courses, he has overseen the development, implementation, and administration of Games and AR/VR courses through the UK and Australia. Geoff is currently a PhD candidate at the School of Computing and Information Systems at The University of Melbourne, Australia. His research focuses on the development and practices of private World of Warcraft server communities.
His career highlights include moving from working in Cisco call control and wireless systems to building VR experiences with the very first Oculus headsets (DK1) from the kickstarter was so exciting. And from that working on an amazing VR clinical trial that was published and just hit 100 citations recently!
