After a successful events at SAE London and Oxford, SAE Liverpool is delighted to invite you to a masterclass with Sarah Clayton and Alex Pilkington of Funnel Music.
Funnel Music will be exploring how new models in the music industry can invest in long term artist development. Advances are on the decline, fewer artists are being signed by major labels and longer term artist development is too costly. Industry professionals Sarah Clayton and Alex Pilkington explore the role of record labels, the pros and cons of outdated major label models and Funnel’s innovative solutions.
Funnel have 12 artists currently signed to their expanding roster, a UK touring circuit linking its artists and great local support acts with top promotors. This lecture is an opportunity for SAE Institute students to find out about future opportunities with Funnel such as playing their shows, becoming a show rep or submitting music for the opportunity to be signed.
