Blaze Media shares latest AI SEO trends with SAE students

SAE Liverpool was delighted to welcome Blaze Media’s Ethan Hunt for a session on SEO and the impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on the future of online search and digital marketing.

Blaze Media is an SEO and marketing agency based in Liverpool and has had an ongoing partnership with SAE with members of their expert team sharing their knowledge and expertise as guest lecturers.

SEO Manager Ethan delivered an online talk to SAE Content Creation and Online Marketing students and explored many of the challenges facing marketeers to run campaigns, share updates and attract online business in a shifting digital landscape.

Peter Lynch, Content Creation and Online Marketing Lecturer at SAE Liverpool, said: “Collaborating with Blaze Media has been incredibly valuable for our students, offering them industry insights from one of Liverpool’s leading digital agencies.”

“Ethan is an SEO specialist at Blaze and delivered a session exploring search algorithm shifts, useful tools and practical tips students can use when looking at their own content strategies. The session bridged the gap between theory and practice, helping our students understand how SEO is evolving and how to position themselves in a rapidly changing industry. These kinds of partnerships are essential for preparing our students to be professional, employable creatives.”

How AI Search Updates are Impacting SEO Strategy in 2025
In his talk Ethan highlighted some of the changes facing content marketing professionals, particularly due to the impact of AI. He outlined how SEO and marketing professionals need to adapt and the importance of human generated content in the digital landscape. According to online expert Neil Patel, human generated content receives five times more than AI-generated content.

Ethan said: “The challenges for SEO specialists with the latest trends and innovations is to find a way to retain online direct traffic to websites in the face of AI – while visibility is still high, the impact of AI is that many users are not clicking through.”

“There’s a lot of AI content out there and it’s now getting penalised by Google. It shows you that human-written articles are still valuable for marketeers and websites. However, the challenge for content creators is to find a balance between giving their unique and personal take while utilising AI tools to improve processes and efficiency.”

Hanna Yasiuk, SAE Content and Online Marketing student, said “The Blaze Media sessions were genuinely interesting and practical. I especially appreciated hearing from industry professionals and learning about real tools and techniques they actually use in their work, it made the whole experience feel very relevant and applicable to my future projects.”
