About our LEAMINGTON SPA GAMES DESIGN WORKSHOP
Ever wondered how indie and AAA studios dream up your favourite games? Our Games Design Taster Day gives you the opportunity to work as a team generating ideas, designing and playtesting.
Throughout the session you’ll explore the principles of Games Design, from the initial concept and storytelling to level design and player experience, you’ll also take part in challenges that mirror industry work flows that pro game studios use.

What can you expect?
At our Games Design Workshop on Friday 29th May at our SAE Leamington Spa campus where you can expect the following:
- A warm welcome from our campus team and students
- An introduction to game theory, processes and studio roles
- Interactive workshops in ideation, level design, and gameplay prototyping
- Work in teams to develop and explore narrative, player psychology, and worldbuilding
- Meet the team & student ambassadors
- Lunch & Refreshments provided throughout the day
- Network with other gamers
