Attending an on-campus Open Day is the best way to get a real taste of student life at SAE.
This is an informal day that provides a great way to see our industry-standard facilities, speak to our academic staff and meet our current students.

At our Open Day on Saturday 14th March at our SAE Glasgow campus where you can expect the following:

- Support with applying directly to SAE

Glasgow Open Event FAQs
The Open Day will begin at our SAE Institute Glasgow Annexe building, located at 70 Stanley Street, Kinning Park, Glasgow G41 1JB.
We will then move to our main campus building at 85–87 Portman Street, Kinning Park, Glasgow G41 1EJ.
You can travel via the Subway, with Kinning Park being the nearest station. It’s around a 10-minute walk from campus.
If you’re travelling by car, there is free parking available outside our main building on Portman Street.
You can explore our undergraduate degrees in Audio Production, Film Production, Game Art & Animation, Content Creation, and Music Business.
You’ll also be able to speak to staff about which course best suits your interests and career goals.
You’ll hear from our lecturers, tour our studios and creative spaces, meet current students, and get a real feel for what studying at SAE is like.
The day is relaxed and informal, with plenty of time to ask questions.
Yes, the Open Day is completely free to attend.
Yes, there will be complimentary food and drinks available during the day.
Yes, there are several cafés, coffee shops and places to eat nearby, so it’s easy to grab something before or after the event, or make a full day of your visit to Glasgow.

Yes, parents and guardians are very welcome. They can speak to staff about courses, student support, finance and career options.
That’s completely normal. Our Open Days are friendly and low-pressure. If you’re feeling unsure, you’re welcome to contact our team beforehand and we’ll happily talk you through what to expect.
If you’re unable to attend, please let us know as soon as possible. Open Days can fill up quickly, and this allows us to offer your place to someone else.
We can also help you book onto the next Open Day or arrange a one-to-one campus tour instead.
You’ll be able to speak directly with a member of our admissions or academic team on the day. They can offer advice on applications, entry requirements, portfolios, and help you understand the best route for you.
No preparation is needed. Just come along, explore the campus, and ask any questions you have.
Our Open Day runs more like an event. We start at 10am, so we recommend arriving at the Annexe building 5–10 minutes early to get settled.
A full timetable with session times will be shared closer to the event. Once you’ve explored the campus and attended the sessions you’re interested in, you’re free to stay for as long or as little as you like.
Yes, there is free parking available directly outside our main building on Portman Street.
