Mikita Skye Alford
DJ, Audio Producer & Sound Engineer
Bio
SAE London Audio Production alumna Mikita Skye Alford has rapidly emerged as one of Lebanon’s most exciting rising DJ talents, blending technical expertise with creative performance across audio production and live music.
Since graduating in 2024, Mikita has built a remarkable early career marked by international and local achievements. Soon after completing her studies at SAE London, she returned to Lebanon, quickly securing a role as a sound editor for Warner Bros and Netflix. Her work expanded to include sound editing and mixing across multiple projects, as well as sound engineering for concerts and live performances. She also collaborated as a junior sound engineer with acclaimed composer Khaled Mouzannar, gaining hands-on experience at the highest levels of audio production.
When the war in Beirut disrupted daily life, Mikita made the difficult decision to leave temporarily. During this period of reflection, she discovered a growing passion for DJing. What began as experimentation soon turned into a full-time career. Within months, she signed with the Peachpuff agency, became a partner in a local bar, and began performing at major venues across Lebanon. Today, she is recognised for her energy, creativity, and dedication to her craft, captivating audiences with each set.
One of Mikita’s current goals is to be selected to play at one of Lebanon’s biggest festivals, the Aegis Festival, performing on the Beatport and Scenenoise stages.
Some of Mikita’s career highlights include:
- Working as a sound editor for Warner Bros and Netflix
- Collaborating with composer Khaled Mouzannar as a junior sound engineer
- Engineering live performances and concerts across Lebanon
- Launching a DJ career signed to Peachpuff agency, performing at major venues
- Building a reputation as one of Lebanon’s most promising emerging DJ talents
Mikita credits SAE London with providing the technical foundation and creative confidence to explore multiple pathways in audio. The broad, hands-on curriculum allowed her to understand the connections across different areas of sound and make informed choices about her career direction.
“SAE gave me the foundation and confidence to explore different aspects of audio and music, which has guided every step of my professional journey,” Mikita reflects.
Her advice for future SAE students is:
“Dream big. Embrace challenges, trust your instincts, and remain open to where your creativity might take you. Every unexpected turn can lead to something rewarding.”
