He has also worked as a Development Executive with La Belle Allée Productions, helping shape new film and television projects from concept through to production.
Back to SAE
Paul first joined SAE as a student in 2008, making his return as a lecturer especially meaningful. Having built his own career from the classroom to the industry, he is passionate about sharing that experience with the next generation of filmmakers.
He is currently in pre-production on a Creative Scotland–funded short film and continues to develop new projects alongside his teaching.
Student Collaboration
Paul actively involves students in professional productions. In The Room, a short film he directed and co-wrote with contributions from SAE Film Production students, was nominated at the Madrid Film Awards, giving learners direct experience on an internationally recognised project.
