Attending an on-campus Open Day is the best way to get a real taste of student life at SAE.
This is an informal day that provides a great way to see our industry-standard facilities, speak to our academic staff and meet our current students.

At our Open Day on Saturday 18th April at our SAE London Bankstock campus where you can expect the following:

- Time to talk to current students and staff about life at SAE and studying in London

You can locate us by clicking here.
By Overground:
You can travel via the London Overground, with the nearest stations being Haggerston and Hoxton, both within walking distance of the campus and well connected to the wider London network.
By Underground:
You can connect via the London Underground and change onto the Overground where needed (for example via Highbury & Islington, Whitechapel, or Canada Water), depending on your starting point.
Coming from outside London:
If you’re travelling in by national rail, you can connect into London terminals and transfer onto the Underground or Overground to reach the campus area.
Parking:
There is no on-site parking at the campus. However, limited on-street parking is available locally. You can use apps such as RingGo to pay for parking and check exact locations, availability, and restrictions.
You can explore our undergraduate degrees in audio production, film, games development, content creation, music business, and web development, and speak to staff about which course might suit you best.
You’ll hear from lecturers, tour our studios and creative spaces, meet current students, and get a real feel for what studying at SAE is like. The day is relaxed and informal, with plenty of time to ask questions.
Yes, the Open Day is completely free to attend.
Bankstock Campus:
Yes, the campus is wheelchair accessible. There is a wheelchair lift available to assist with the small set of stairs at the rear entrance, and an elevator providing access throughout the rest of the building.
House Campus:

Yes, the campus is surrounded by cafés, coffee shops, and places to eat, so it’s easy to grab a coffee before or after, or make a full day of your visit in London.
Near Haggerston Station:
- SHED Haggerston Coffee & Wine Shop – Right outside Haggerston Station
- Tesco Express – Just around the corner from the station
Over the canal (towards Bankstock area):
- Toconoco – Cozy café spot
- Arepa & Co (Venezuelan Restaurant) – Great Latin American food
Other nearby food spots:
- Tonkotsu East – Popular for ramen
- Bread & Butter – Casual café/bakery options
Yes, parents and guardians are very welcome. They can speak to staff about courses, student support, finance, and career options.
That’s completely normal. Our Open Days are friendly and low-pressure. If you’re feeling unsure, you’re welcome to reach out to our team before the day, and we’ll happily talk you through what to expect.
If you’re unable to attend, please let us know as soon as possible. Open Days can fill up quickly, and this allows us to offer your place to someone else. We can also help book you onto the next Open Day or arrange a 1:1 campus tour instead.
You’ll be able to speak directly with a member of our admissions or academic team on the day. They can offer tips on applications, entry requirements, portfolios, and help you understand the best route for you.
No preparation is needed. Just come along, explore the campus, and ask any questions you have.
You can stay for as long or as little as you like. A full timetable with session times will be shared closer to the event.
