SAE is delighted to announce the launch of its new ground-breaking Creative Computing and Artificial Intelligence (AI) degree.
Available to study at SAE’s Glasgow, Leeds, Liverpool, Leamington Spa and London campuses, this new course aims to respond to the needs of the digital age and enable students to take advantage of many of the innovations shaping the creative technology landscape.
Students can join from September 2026 and gain an in-depth understanding of generative AI, virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), mixed reality (MR), extended reality (XR), projection mapping and application development.
AI is an integral part of the course, something that makes this unique when compared with other creative technology degrees where AI is only included as part of a small selection of modules.
Geoff Hill, Programme Leader for SAE’s Games and Web courses, said: “We’re super excited to unveil our latest undergraduate degree in Creative Computing and AI.”
“The world of creative technology is rapidly changing with the introduction of AI into creative workflows. In this degree students will explore these new technologies and their application in the creative industries.”
“Students will have the opportunity to make new visual, audio, and interactive experiences, and collaborate with artists and creatives to bring their projects to life.”
Those joining the course will become proficient at using the latest creative AI tools and software, including Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator and Premiere Pro), ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Ollama, LM Studio, Resolume and Apple Vision Pro with Xcode and Swift.
They will also have the opportunity to collaborate with course peers alongside students from other creative fields as part of the SAE community.
