On 21 November, SAE London Music Business students will host an EP showcase at Cargo for the artist Ebony Frainteso.
Ebony Frainteso is a 21-year-old British artist who was born and raised in Essex. Her sound ranges from sleek R&B melodies to a deep neo-soul sound, and her musical talent was quickly recognised after she showcased her music on YouTube.
She has been gaining international attention, with over 1 million streams and over 470,000 fans in over 65 countries on Spotify, so she’s definitely one to watch this autumn.
Music Business lecturer, Pete Gofton said: “The students are working on their MBS5400 unit, which is putting an event on. The artist they are working with is managed by one of the students, and she has an EP coming out soon. They have been working hard and are putting their efforts into promotion at the moment.”
The managers of the live show at Cargo are Penny Opiah and Samantha Golding. For over a year now, Penny has managed Ebony day-to-day, ensuring she gets the right gigs, radio interviews and much more.
"IF YOU WANT TO HEAR GOOD LIVE MUSIC AND REALLY APPRECIATE R&B, SOUL AND UK ARTISTS THEN THIS IS THE EVENT FOR YOU! EBONY FRAINTESO’S VOCALS WILL LIFT YOU TO ANOTHER WORLD, ALONGSIDE HER SUPPORTING ACTS WHO EQUALLY MATCH HER. THIS IS ONE NIGHT NOT TO BE MISSED."
- PENNY OPIAH, SAE LONDON MUSIC BUSINESS STUDENT
Fellow Music Business student Aaron Hawkins is in charge of Venue Liaison, whilst classmates Marina Frezarin Da Cunha, Manuela Da Silva Boaventura, Josh Williams and Luca Vitiello are working on Marketing for the event.
