Ann Harrison - Consultant to the music and media at Swan Turton

    Ann moved over to the world of music and entertainment law in 1988 when she joined the entertainment firm, Harbottle & Lewis. She remained there until 2003 becoming partner and Head of the Music Group. In 2003 she left to set up her own successful business affairs consultancy, Harrisons.

    Ann joined Swan Turton as a consultant to the music and media group in November 2014. Ann’s clients include both household names and artists just starting out. She advises the ‘talent’ end of the business with artists, songwriters, record producers, managers, independent record and publishing companies and booking agents amongst her clients. Ann regularly gives masterclasses on aspects of the music business at colleges and universities as well as being a frequent panellist at music business events.

    Ann is the author of ‘Music: The Business’ published by Random House which is the textbook or required reading on all UK music business courses. In November 2014 Ann received a Women In Music Award recognising her achievements.
