SAE are hosting three open events this month, to give budding creators the chance to take their first step towards a creative media qualification.
Our open events are great opportunities for curious creatives to explore the learning environments, see the amazing equipment and facilities, speak to our expert tutors and find out what current students are enjoying and learning on their courses. They’re the perfect opportunity to find out what sets SAE apart from other Higher Education institutions and to follow in the footsteps of our award winning graduates.
SAE Glasgow - 20 June
SAE Glasgow is hosting an Open Day event on Thursday 20 June from 6.00 - 8.00 pm. The Glasgow campus (85-87 Portman Street, G41 1EJ) is situated in Kinning Park, a stone’s throw away from BBC Scotland and Scottish Television headquarters.
Paul Ewing, a current Digital Film Production student at SAE Glasgow said:
“The open days were a main factor in my choice to come here. After seeing the facilities and equipment available and hearing about the course, I could see that SAE was going to be different to all other creative courses. I get a real sense that SAE is going to take me where I want to go professionally.”
The campus has recently benefited from the addition of a new Film Edit suite.

SAE London - 22 June
SAE London is hosting an Open Day event on Saturday 22 June from 12.00 - 4.00 pm. The two campus buildings are SAE House (297 Kingsland Rd) and Bankstock Studios (42 - 44 De Beauvoir Cres), which are in Haggerston, East London and just a short walk apart.
From the student radio station that was recently launched, to SAE Extra events which have seen prominent industry figures such as Jeremy Podeswa (Game of Thrones director) talk to students, there is no shortage of fun things to do at SAE London.

An artist will be performing and recorded as you look around, and all the course lecturers will be delivering presentations, with opportunities to ask questions one-to-one afterwards. Student ambassadors will also be on hand throughout the day to answer any questions you may have about the student experience at SAE.
Bradley Palmer, a current Game Art Animation student at SAE Liverpool said:
“My experiences with the SAE Open Days were very helpful. I got to learn a lot about each and every course and also got to learn about what my course was going to be like. I went to almost every Open Day and the lecturers and student ambassadors helped me with any questions I had. Overall they were very helpful and enjoyable.”
