SAE UK is looking forward to welcoming you to our virtual open event on Saturday 10 October from 12.00 pm - 2.30 pm.
During the event, there will be an introduction from SAE UK and South West Europe Managing Director and General Manager, Steffan Davies, which will be followed by a presentation from one of our award-winning students.
SAE UK and South West Europe Managing Director and General Manager, Steffan Davies said: “Our lecturers are experts in their fields and are looking forward to meeting you and sharing some of their industry insight. Come along to our open event this Saturday to learn more about the ways in which we can help you kickstart your creative future.”
After an overview of the SAE offer, you’ll have a chance to get stuck into your main subject area of interest* in a breakout room for Animation/VFX, Audio, Film, Games, Music Business, or Web. This will involve one of our expert lecturers providing a demo so you can see for yourself what it’s like to study at the home of creatives. You’ll also have a chance to ask any questions you might have about the course structure or module content.
Finally, you’ll rejoin everybody in the main room where you can ask any questions you might have about fees and funding, accommodation, SAE’s Covid-19 response, Disabled Student’s Allowance, our industry partners and more. Our friendly recruitment and admissions team will be on hand to help you with enquiries regarding your application.
You might be wondering how SAE has adapted to the Covid-19 pandemic, and this event is the perfect opportunity to learn what measures we’ve put in place and how our students have responded. SAE UK has a blended approach to learning which means students can learn from any place, at their own pace. We believe that a blended approach is the right approach to learning, with practical classes and some tutorials held with small groups on campus to ensure hands-on access to equipment, theory delivered via online lectures to keep group sizes safe, and online materials to help you learn at your own pace, any place. Once students have been cleared to use studio equipment independently, they can also book studio time and use the facilities such as PC/Mac Labs in and around their timetabled lessons.
While we aren’t able to host large groups of visitors at our campuses at this time to the UK’s Covid-19 restrictions, we are very keen to welcome you and one other guest for a bespoke tour of our campus anytime this month from 9-5 Mon-Fri, or 10-4 on Saturday. To book your personal tour of our incredible facilities, please email firstname.lastname@example.org
* Please note that you will be only able to attend one breakout session. However, the event will be recorded so if you wish to watch more than one breakout session, you will be able to do this after the event.
The secure Zoom link will be emailed to you following registration.
