Short + Sweet SAE International Film Festival
International Student Film Festival presented by Short+Sweet International for students of SAE Creative Media Institute around the world. Entry is free. Shortlisted films will be showcased in Los Angeles as part of the Short+Sweet Film Festival. Additionally, all finalists may be selected for free entry into other S+S festivals internationally. Winning films (documentary and animation only) may be eligible for Academy Award selection through the S+S partnership with American Documentary Film Festival (Palm Springs). You must be a current SAE student - any course, any campus, any country - OR have graduated from an SAE course within the last two years (2017/2018). The film may feature the work of other artists and contributors however your involvement should be as one of the Creative Team. You are responsible for obtaining the permission of others involved in the production. Don't forget all films must be 10 minutes or less (excluding credits). Your work will be seen and assessed by a line-up of industry professionals from around the world.
The festival is a proud member of the Short+Sweet family - the biggest 10-minute performing arts festival in the world - with events in 30+ cities across 14 countries. Short+Sweet has been entertaining audiences for over 20 years, with the first festival in Sydney Australia in 2002. To date, S+S has presented over 8,500 original new works in a broad range of art forms including Film, Theatre, Music, and Dance.
