About the speaker
Jim Albers is an artist manager and music publishing executive based in the Netherlands.
Jim’s background combines commercial strategy with creative production. After studying International Business, he graduated in Smart Media Production from the University of Applied Sciences, where he specialized in emerging technologies, AI, and audience-driven storytelling.
He entered the music industry in 2017, co-founding Khoya Records with Soraib el Jelali. Over four years, he gained foundational experience in independent releases and talent development. In 2021, Jim established WiseNose Entertainment, a management company focused on building long-term artist careers. Under his management, the roster has achieved millions of streams, sold out venues across the Netherlands, and executed viral campaigns reaching widespread audiences.
In 2022, Jim took on the role of Head of Publishing at Magma Music Agency, where he oversees rights management and revenue streams for the agency’s clients. In 2023, he expanded his industry perspective by joining Warner Music Benelux for a tenure under the guidance of Head of A&R Ferran Huijsmans and Isa Azier, gaining insight into major label operations. Today, Jim continues to lead operations at both WiseNose Entertainment and Magma Music Agency.
