YOUR CAREER IN MIXING AND MASTERING BEGINS NOW
The Advanced Mixing and Mastering Course guides you through the complete professional
workflow, from the first listening session to the final master. Building on existing production
knowledge, the course focuses on advanced techniques and critical skills needed to achieve
industry-level sound.
The course also covers advanced strategies for achieving space and headroom, including the professional use of crest factor through limiters and clippers, as well as multi-band and group processing, culminating in the mastering stage.
Throughout, you will work on complete mixing and mastering projects that mirror professional studio practices, while engaging with experienced industry professionals and benefiting from one-on-one mentorship. By the end, you will be able to deliver release-ready mixes and masters that meet contemporary professional standards
Course delivery
Two lessons per week.
Event week (if organizing the event week for next term is not feasible, it will be
covered with extra lessons)
Three 90min mixing start to finish sessions.
Three 90min mastering start to finish.
One hour per week: 1-on-1 session
The course is delivered with ProTools.

Federico Naccari
Federico Naccari has spent years connecting with top engineers and artists across Europe and
the UK to gain in-depth knowledge of advanced mixing, mastering, and sound design
techniques. He dedicated extensive time to working in studios, honing his craft, before moving
to Amsterdam to be at the center of a vibrant industry network.
Based in Amsterdam, Federico runs his own studio within a creative hub shared with
established industry engineers and artists, providing an environment that nurtures high-level
production. Passionate about mentorship, he guides aspiring audio engineers in achieving
release-ready results and mastering advanced workflows.
He holds a Master’s in Sound Design with a focus on Spectro-Morphology from Bath Spa
University, completed with distinction. Federico combines technical expertise with creative vision
in his teaching.
