Tuition Fees

Tuition fees, for the three-year degree courses only, vary according to the economic, asset and financial conditions of each student’s family unit. Assignment to one of the contribution brackets is determined through the procedure outlined in the dedicated “Enrolment” section within the Student Handbook (Manifesto degli Studi). The amounts for the accredited three-year degree courses (Audio Production and Video Production) are VAT-exempt pursuant to Presidential Decree no. 633 of 26/10/1972, including the annual regional tax for the right to university education of €140, in application of Legislative Decree no. 68/2012, and the enrolment fee. Amounts for non-accredited courses are VAT-inclusive. Amounts for courses pending accreditation are VAT-exclusive.

Placement in one of the income brackets is determined through the procedure outlined in the dedicated “Enrollment” section of the Study Manifesto, and is the responsibility of the student.

Courses starting in October 2025 and February 2026 are subject to the following reductions, to be applied to the amounts shown within the tuition fee schedule.

Early Bird 15% – 15% reduction on the tuition fee shown in the schedule for the entire duration of the course, with enrolment by 30 April 2025.

The DB Easy financing plan (Deutsche Bank Group) allows you to pay the entire tuition fee in monthly installments over a period of 4 to 12 months.

Payment plans are subject to approval by the lending company. The amounts shown on this page do not include interest, processing fees, or setup costs, which are paid directly to the lending institution with which a formal financing agreement is signed.

The amounts due (and any applicable deadlines) are detailed on the enrollment form. The Audio Production and Video Production courses are authorized by the Ministry of Education, University and Research with Ministerial Decree no. 280 of May 16, 2017, pursuant to art. 11 of Presidential Decree 212/2005, for the issuance of a First Level Academic Diploma within the AFAM system.

All promotions and financial benefits are valid solely for the indicated period and are subject to enrollment in the chosen course and payment of the enrollment fee. This information is purely promotional regarding the educational offer and is not to be considered legally binding.

The “Videogame and Interactive Media Production” course (also referred to as “Game Production”) is currently pending accreditation by the Ministry of University and Research: SAE Italia cannot assume any obligation to issue a First Level Academic Diploma until the successful completion of the accreditation process currently under evaluation by the MUR.

Only from the actual date the accreditation is obtained will the course be eligible for all the benefits provided for courses accredited by the Ministry of University and Research, including, for example, the possibility of tax deductions on tuition fees.

SAE applies a tuition reduction for courses pending accreditation: the amounts shown in the “GAME PRODUCTION – REDUCED FEE SCHEDULE” table indicate these reductions compared to the full-price amounts listed in the previous “VIDEO AND GAME PRODUCTION COURSES” table.

In case of enrollment for the AY 25/26, the reduced fees will remain unchanged for the entire three-year period.

Until the date of accreditation, the statutory VAT (calculated at a 22% rate) must be added to the indicated amounts, exclusively for the fees paid before the course obtains accreditation.

However, precisely to relieve students from the VAT burden, until accreditation is obtained, SAE will apply a discount equal to the VAT amount; therefore, the indicated amounts are to be considered as the “final cost due”.

In the event of accreditation, in addition to what is indicated in the reduced fee schedule, students will be required to pay an annual amount of €140.00 for the Regional Tax for the Right to Higher Education.

In the event of non-accreditation, the course will not undergo any changes or reductions in terms of subjects, hours, and activities, and will be delivered as agreed, in full compliance with the published and shared study plan.
