Curriculum
The three-year program in Game Design and Interactive Media trains professionals for the gaming industry and the broader field of interactive applications. A path that combines strong design foundations, critical thinking and an innovative approach, preparing designers capable of creating experiences that blend art, technology and storytelling.
The course starts from the fundamentals of game design – analysis, mechanics and game dynamics – through the design of analog experiences such as board games, role-playing games and live action (LARP). From there, the path evolves toward video game production and the many applications of contemporary ludic design: gamification, applied games and serious games.
Students learn to master industry technologies and tools: game engines, 3D modeling, prototyping and artificial intelligence applied to game design, through to procedural system design and interactive installations.
Alongside technical training, the course develops a critical and strategic vision, exploring the psychology and culture of play, the history and analysis of games and video games, marketing for the creative industries and law.
Thanks to a hands-on, project-based approach, each student develops autonomy and the ability to manage complex productions: from analog prototyping to the creation of complete video games, from applied games to interactive installations.
