SAE Institute is a global network for Creative Media education that offers courses designed with market needs in mind, preparing the next generations of professionals across numerous sectors of the cultural and creative industries.
The Milan campus, the only one in Italy, is part of a global network of more than 50 campuses in 26 countries. Opened in 1996 with a single Audio Production course, over the years it has consolidated its expertise and its relationships with industry partners. The success of its educational programs has made it possible to expand the offering to film and television, the gaming world, and Music Business.
CAMPUS LIFE
Since 2013, SAE Institute Milan has expanded by relocating its headquarters to the campus at via Trentacoste 14: a one-of-a-kind 2,000 sqm facility that houses 20 recording and production studios to deliver the best hands-on learning experience.
La qualità dei percorsi formativi in ambito Audio e Video ha ottenuto nel 2017 un importante riconoscimento: il Ministero dell’Istruzione, dell’Università e della Ricerca, ai sensi dell’art. 11 del DPR 212/2005 e con D.M. 280/2017, ha autorizzato SAE Italia all’attivazione e al rilascio dei relativi titoli di diploma accademico di primo livello per i corsi in Produzione Audio e Produzione Cinetelevisiva e Nuovi Media. Nel 2024 è stata presentata la richiesta di accreditamento anche per il corso di Produzione Videoludica e Media Interattivi. A partire dall’A.A. 2023/24, SAE Institute entra nel programma Erasmus+.
The quality of the educational programs in Audio and Video earned an important recognition in 2017: the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research, pursuant to art. 11 of DPR 212/2005 and with D.M. 280/2017, authorized SAE Italia to activate and issue the corresponding Bachelor’s Degree (Diploma Accademico di Primo Livello) qualifications for the Audio Production and Film, TV and New Media Production courses. In 2024, an accreditation request was also submitted for the Game and Interactive Media Production course. Starting from the 2023/24 academic year, SAE Institute has joined the Erasmus+ program.
The educational offering is completed by the two-year Music Business course in partnership with Music Innovation Hub, along with the professional courses in Electronic Music Production and Urban Music Production.
The SAE Alumni Association is the network for SAE Institute graduates and students, designed to boost your professional experience and networking, both during and after your studies. Through a diverse range of resources, events, and communications, the program provides active job placement services and helps you build lasting connections within the community.
SAE Awards is our acclaimed international creative media competition, where students and Alumni have the opportunity to stand out with their projects and gain visibility within the international professional community.
