Academic Partner

Starting from the 2022/23 Academic Year, SAE Institute Milan and Accademia Stauffer, one of the most active Italian music institutions in advanced concert training for string players, have launched a collaborative project.

The educational project involves the creation of an innovative advanced training program designed for Stauffer and SAE students, bringing together maestros and faculty from both institutions to collaborate in music production and to train young artists and professionals who are more aware of the potential of new technologies.

A.Y. 2023/24

In Summer 2024, the partnership between SAE Institute and Accademia Stauffer focuses on recording the final masterclass concert featuring Maestros Viktoria Mullova and Matthew Barley alongside the students of Accademia Stauffer.

SAE lecturers from the Technical-Scientific Committee, specifically Leonardo Bruno and Filippo Gabbrielli, supported by students from the Audio Production course, handle the audio recording of the concert in the Sala Stradivari at Accademia Stauffer in Cremona, using Schoeps microphones provided by our partner Audio Network. The audio is subsequently mixed in Dolby Atmos at our partner Funky Junk‘s studios, exported to binaural stereo, and synchronized with the video shot by Stauffer during the performance. The result is an audiovisual product that delivers a realistic and emotionally engaging impact when experienced through headphones.
