Ricky Damian

A SAE London alumnus, Ricky boasts credits on Mark Ronson‘s “Uptown Funk”, Duran Duran‘s latest album and many more.

From playing in bands as a kid and recording tapes in a makeshift basement studio, to winning over the Red Bull Studios to become Mark Ronson’s full-time Studio Engineer, Ricky Damian made the transition from student life to the professional world in record time. He loves every minute of those late-night recording sessions and can’t wait to meet the talents that walk through Mark Ronson’s door every week.

When talent scouts reached out to SAE Institute looking for emerging professionals, the lecturer in charge didn’t hesitate to recommend him for the role. With outstanding academic results and a genuine passion for sound, Ricky is always the first to arrive and the last to leave the studio. He has already reaped the first rewards of his commitment with the world-famous track Uptown Funk and is aiming ever higher.
