SAE Environment

Successful learning and knowledge transfer depend on many factors. In addition to assured quality standards, the environment, an appreciative attitude and sustainability also play a major role for us.

Our CO2 compensation

SAE-Institute GmbH has been certified as a “climate-neutral company” and offsets CO2 according to the Gold Standard.

Our CO2 footprint is calculated every 2 years and 100% offset through verifiable measures. Our goal is to continuously reduce our CO2 consumption.

We have reduced our annual CO2 emissions from 990 tons to 459 tons. Certified, we are actively committed to climate protection and are constantly reducing our CO2 footprint.

Our forest protection projects

Furthermore, we have already planted a total of over 700 trees in various donation and sustainability projects to restore vital rainforests, such as the Yucatan Restoration Project in Mexico.
Our forest conservation areas totaling 2,585 m2 consist of the following areas:
– 773 m2: German Beech Jungle in the Eifel (Forest Academy)
– 350 m2: Old-Growth Forest in Eastern Germany in the Uckermark (WWF)
– 1.462 m2: Alluvial Forests in Eastern Germany / Auenwälder Elbe (WWF)

Our digital forest “The SAE Institute Forest” is implemented with real projects.
