Events
A visit to the Open Campus or another event is not absolutely necessary for an application, but it is still recommended. Events offer you good impressions of future professional practice, and you can use them to find out whether a department is right for you. At the Open Campus, on the other hand, you can get to know the campus with its entire team and thus experience the future learning atmosphere.
