Many media companies have also settled in the Stuttgart area, which gives the region a diverse media landscape. In particular, the proximity to the Film Academy Baden-Württemberg in Ludwigsburg ensures a positive trend in film and television culture in the "Ländle". "Even as a relatively young film region, Baden-Württemberg offers filmmakers and production companies increasingly attractive conditions and offers the film industry good growth prospects."

Baden-Württemberg is particularly attractive and promising for students and graduates, as the region can boast particularly high growth comparably in the cultural and creative industries. While nationally the number of employed persons increased by 8% in this sector, in this region it increased by 13%.

  • Multifaceted media landscape combined with above average growth
  • Yearly FMX conference: the FMX Conference on Animation, Effects, Games and Transmedia is the most important European conference on creation, production and distribution of digital entertainment, as well as on interactive visualisation techniques in design, industry and science.
