We are committed to using only those AI applications that offer sustainable added value for teaching and creativity and are constantly evaluating how we can minimise the ecological footprint of our digital infrastructure.
At the same time, we see AI as an opportunity for a more sustainable future: AI can help to utilise resources more efficiently, make processes in media production more eco-friendly and promote sustainable innovation in many areas. Our Ethics Guideline for the use of AI defines clear guidelines on how AI technologies are used responsibly in our degree programmes and creative processes. These guideline includes principles for the fair use of AI in creative processes, transparency in the use of AI-generated content and the protection of intellectual property.

The SAE Institute does not process any personal data with AI systems. We only use GDPR-compliant technologies and ensure that no sensitive data is collected or analysed by AI models. Our employees are trained in data protection regulations to ensure secure and responsible use.
