Discover the Electronic Music Production course
Amsterdam, 27/10/2025
This year, SAE Institute Amsterdam and ADE collaborated to create one of the most engaging experiences of the event. SAE was part of the ADE Lab, the educational platform of Amsterdam Dance Event located in Westerpark (De Bakkerswinkel); the guests could attend seminars related to the electronic music industry, and network with musicians, synth manufacturers, and labels.
The Bake Shop Studio was equipped with hardware and software from Ableton, AIAIAI, Korg, Novation, Moog, Native Instruments, Roland, Teenage Engineering,Universal Audio and Arturia.
The day’s main activity in the Bake Shop Studio was the daily SAE Challenge, intended to push the attendees’ skills to the next level with the help of our students and staff.
On day three, we had the honour of being hosted by superstar DJ and producer Cyril, who gifted the participants with sample packs, and provided feedback to attendees of the challenge.
Some of the participants were also given a chance to be interviewed for the Dutch national TV, where they discussed their experience competing in the challenges and working as electronic music producers.
Without the assistance of our students from the Electronic Music Production Certificate, the Audio Production Degree and the Film Production Degree, none of this would have been possible. Guided by the staff, they assembled and connected every piece of technology, ensured that each workstation was adequately configured, and supported assistance to the more than 300 visitors who needed expertise in understanding how the equipment worked. This is considered a very valuable experience for them to keep on pursuing their dreams and acquiring as much knowledge as possible to work in the creative media industry.
Our sincere thanks to the crew and management of Amsterdam Dance Event for creating such an incredible experience and letting us be part of one of the year’s most meaningful events.
