Take part into SAE Institute’s International Week in Milan!
From September 7th to 13th, a selected group of international students will have the opportunity to dive into Italy’s rich cultural and musical heritage, connect with fellow local students in a buddy experience, and gain hands-on experience through exclusive workshops and meetings with the local industry.
With a packed program that includes masterclasses from top professionals, visits to iconic institutions like Fondazione Stauffer, RAI Studio di Fonologia, Teatro alla Scala, and Blue Note, plus networking events, guided tours, and social gatherings — this is your chance to expand your skills, your network, and your perspective.
creativity and Ai: an in-depth look at the italian creative industry
This international mobility program is part of NIMI Project, which explores the future development of Italian craftsmanship in the era of artificial intelligence. In this context, SAE Institute Milan offers an in-depth look at the excellence of the Italian creative industry, providing a starting point for an international dialogue on the sector’s development with future professionals.
SAE Milan’s International Week is carried out within the framework of the project La nuova intelligenza del Made in Italy – The New Intelligence of Made in Italy (NIMI), funded by the European Union under Next Generation EU (NGEU), aimed at supporting the internationalization of Higher Education Institutions in the Arts and Music sector (AFAM), in accordance with Italy’s National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) – Mission 4, Component 1 – Investment 3.4, Sub-investment T5.

Regulations and Documentation
In order to participate in the selection process outlined in this call, applicants must meet and demonstrate the following requirements:
- Written and spoken English proficiency level equivalent to B2 (as defined by the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages)
- Being enrolled at an AD Education, SAE or NIMI Project partner institution
- Not being part of other funded exchange programmes in the period in which the International Week takes place
- Not residing in Italy in the period in which the International Week takes place
The selection will be carried out by an internal Evaluation Committee that will draw up a ranking list by scoring the following selection criteria:
- Personal motivation and coherence of the proposed educational project – 3 points max
- English language proficiency (as indicated in the CV / Resume provided) – 2 points max
- Motivational letter – 3 points max
The maximum number of participants is 15.
Selected Students’ Commitment
Selected students commit to:
- Regularly attend the activities at the host institution
- Submit all required documentation at the end of the mobility period
- Write a final report on the experience
International Week – SAE Milan – Call Sept25
- Travel and accommodation bookings: Students will be responsible for independently arranging accommodation and transportation to the campus. SAE Italy can provide assistance, logistical support, or facilitate contact with its partner institutions.
- Allowance payment: The allowance will be disbursed in two instalments: an advance payment prior to departure, and the remaining balance upon completion of the mandatory final questionnaire required for reporting purposes.
- Insurance: SAE Italy’s local insurance covers third-party liability only during official educational activities. Students are strongly advised to purchase personal travel insurance to cover additional individual risks such as accidents or theft.
