In this session, Rachel Tauwnaar, Ambassadors Berlin, will provide an insider’s look into music direction for film, advertising, and animation: sharing how music supervision, composition, and sound branding come together in a creative studio.

About the speaker

Rachel Tauwnaar is an award-winning music supervisor in advertising, who supervised the music for global campaigns of esteemed brands such as G-Star, Adidas, Volkswagen, Tommy Hilfiger and Karl Lagerfeld. In 2022, she co-composed ‘G-Star RAW - The Rhythm of Denim’ which was recognized as the most awarded commercial in the music category for original composition in advertising that year.
Rachel began her career as a music supervisor in her hometown of Amsterdam.In 2023, she packed her bags and took on the role of Music Director at Ambassadors Berlin: a newly established boutique craft studio, known for its expertise in high-end VFX, CG and music composition. Beyond her directorial duties, she also works on her self-titled artist project, for which she sings, writes, and plays violin. She recently released her debut single, "Pray For Us."
