Sabrina Naumann-Reichow (dialogue editor/sound post-production) and Antje Volkmann (sound engineer) will show you how sounds make their way cleanly through the various processes from the set to the cinema mix.
We will refer to the classic workflow of a cinema production with Sound Devices, Avid and Pro Tools.
We show you the usual communication channels and explain the complete file management workflow – from recording on set to editing and sound post-production: dialogue editing, sound design, mixing.
What can go wrong during editing? Which special characters confuse Avid? What should be included in the sound report? What does a turnover sheet look like?
