Masterclass: Analogue & Digital Mastering
What are the differences between analogue and digital mastering? Analog mastering uses physical, outboard mastering gear to process the mix. Digital mastering uses the software. Depending on the material and the applications used, we will demonstrate when and how to use an analogue chain, and when it's favorable to stay in the Digital domain and how we can best combine the two in a hybrid mastering setup.
During this workshop, we will demo various Pultec style Eq’s, SSL bus compressors and Neve parametric Equalizers together with our SPL M/S analogue matrix.
