Bio

Starting as a musician in his teens, Nick Roan started producing and engineering audio in 2007 after undertaking the Diploma course at SAE Glasgow. After freelancing for 4 years, Nick returned to the SAE in 2011, becoming the Programme Coordinator for Audio in the Glasgow campus in 2013. He is now the Academic Coordinator.

His teaching currently focuses on Music Production and Film Sound, as well as covering aspects of Game Sound and Acoustics.

Nick has an MSc in Professional Practice, in which he researched interactive delivery methods for new audio students as well as a BSc in Psychology and a Diploma in Audio Production.

He has performed across the UK with Glasgow act Blood Relatives, and releases music as part of the duo Double Crown.
