About Global Game Jam
The Global Game Jam® (GGJ) is the world's largest game creation event taking place around the world simultaneously, but at different physical locations. Many have described it as a hackathon, focused on game development. The jam is always an intellectual challenge with people required to design, develop, create, test and make a new game in 48 hours.
The event was born out of the idea, that in today’s heavily connected world, gamers come together, be creative, share experiences and express themselves in a multitude of ways using video games. GGJ is designed to stimulate collaboration, creativity, and community spirit and is not a competition.
This event spans over three days, therefore you have the option of staying over at the SAE London Campus. Once you register, full information about this will be sent to you in an email before the event.
