How will coronavirus impact my application to study at SAE?

SAE UK is still recruiting for May and September and beyond, so despite the ongoing situation with COVID-19 (coronavirus), you should still apply to kickstart your creative future with SAE!

We understand for many that exams will be affected this year and you may be concerned about how this could impact your place on a higher education programme at SAE. Please don’t worry - We are making every effort to ensure you are not negatively impacted and we will be using maximum flexibility.

Completing an online application will take between 15–30 minutes. In order to complete it fully you will require:

  • A scan / photo of your photo ID / passport
  • A 500-700 personal statement setting out why you wish to study the course you have chosen
  • Any grades for qualifications you have taken (and certificate scans if you have them)

If you do not have any qualifications higher than secondary school level, you may also wish to upload examples of your own creative work, such as a portfolio, sound recordings, film clips etc.

Full details of our entry requirements are available at www.sae.edu/gbr/entry-requirements

If you are applying for any of our 1 year Diplomas or short courses, please use: www.sae.edu/gbr/short-courses instead of the application form below.

IMMIGRATION STATUS AND VISA HISTORY

To comply with UK law and regulations, we need to know information about your immigration status, and immigration history. We also ask questions to help us to assess your fee status, to ensure that we provide you with the correct tuition fee information.

Please tell us more about this, and provide us with a copy of your previous visa refusals:
IMMIGRATION STATUS AND VISA HISTORY CONTINUED

Whether you’re a UK, EEA or International applicant, we are required to ensure that you have the right to study in the UK. There are times when we may need to contact the Home Office and UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) about your application. This is to allow us to find out more information in relation to your application to study with us, as well as to ensure that you are eligible to study with us.

Once we receive your application, we may request an Immigration Check from the UKVI which will provide us with your previous UK immigration history or pending visa applications, and may also request copies of any previous immigration documentation that the UKVI may hold about you.

We may also ask specific questions such as for an update on a pending visa application that you may have. If you require a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) to allow you to gain a visa to study in the UK, we may ask the UKVI for evidence of your visa outcome, or the status of a pending visa application. If your visa application has been unsuccessful, we may ask for a copy of your visa application interview transcript, or other documentation that the UKVI hold in relation to your visa application.
