The Ableton Live producer 8 week course will take you through the basics to get you up and running in no time at all. The course quickly moves on from basic loops and beats to explore synthesis and sound design tools. Students will learn how to operate dynamic processors, multi-FX units, instrument racks, sampling and warping.

Upon completion of the course, students will receive an SAE short course certificate and be part of our global alumni community.

We put all this to use in the session and arrangement views, where you will learn how to balance and mix down to stereo. We then progress on to a more advanced use of processors such as multiband compression, side-chaining and de-essing.

The course concludes with an introduction to mastering and the preparation of a remix package from your work.
