Certified, we are actively involved in climate protection and compensate 955 tons of CO2 per year by supporting environmental protection projects in the SQC-QualityCert Gold Standard, such as the project "Wind Energy for India". Memberships in Media & Professional Associations
Since 2017, we have been a member of the FKTG (Fernseh- und Kinotechnische Gesellschaft). This is one of the oldest technical associations in Germany. Eyes & Ears Europe
In 2016, we became part of the industry association Eyes & Ears of Europe. The association was founded in 1996 by filmmakers from the German television landscape. The aim was to promote awareness of media designers and marketers for their products, to encourage quality-related debates and identify future-oriented perspectives. In short: Exchange of information, quality awareness and support of young talent.
game is the association of the German games industry. Its members include developers, publishers and many other games industry actors such as esports companies, institutions and service providers. As the co-organiser of gamescom, they are responsible for the world’s biggest event for computer and video games. They are shareholder of the German Entertainment Software Self-Regulation Body (USK), the Digital Games Culture Foundation, the esports player foundation and devcom as well as sponsor of the German Computer Game Award.
The Verband Deutscher Tonmeister*innen e. V. (Association of German Sound Engineers), now 70 years old, is one of the oldest and, with 2,100 members from the fields of record production, radio, film, television, multimedia, stage and representatives from the media, equipment industry, events, research, development and teaching, also one of the largest professional associations in the sound industry. The VDT actively promotes interdisciplinary exchange between the various professional fields. The biennial Tonmeistertagung promotes the active exchange of experience between users, manufacturers and equipment suppliers and links pro audio development, science and practice.
We take our social responsibility seriously and support environmental protection, climate protection, sustainability and social projects with a part of our profit: Every year, we double the financial commitment of our employees that benefits environmental protection, climate protection, sustainability or a social purpose and thereby supporting organizations such as Plan International, WWF, Viva con Aqua, SOS Kinderdörfer, Tafel Deutschland, Zoologische Gesellschaft Frankfurt, MSF (Medecins Sans Frontieres), Save the children and many more. In addition, SAE-Institute supports organizations such as WWF, Ocean4You, Peter Maffay Stiftung and Oxfam with annual donation campaigns. During the Corona pandemic, the culture & events industry was also especially supported through donations to the "alarmstuferot" action alliance.
In addition, we support large sustainability projects not only through monetary donations, but also through collaborations, such as our Game Jam for the WWF project "Mittlere Elbe". Where digital solutions for a nature conservation project were developed in one week at our 11 locations in the GSA-region (Germany, Switzerland and Austria) and knowledge about nature protection was conveyed playfully with creativity and fun. In another collaboration, we are involved in Game VR projects for blind people in Cologne. Further collaborations and sponsorships are already being planned for the future.
