Max Pears formerly worked on Ubisoft's 'The Division' before moving to CD Projekt RED where he now works as a level designer on the much-anticipated 'Cyberpunk 2077.' Max also generously shares his experience working on AAA games via the Level Design Lobby podcast, which features tutorials, analyses and interviews with distinguished developers.
In this exciting 3-hour masterclass at SAE Zurich, Max will guide participants through level design fundamentals with a live demo, before settings attendees a supervised level design challenge. To participate, attendees can either use their personal laptop with a favoured game engine (i.e. Unity or Unreal) pre-installed, or sketch with paper and pencil (materials provided).
