SAE BRUSSELS | COVID-19 INFO

SUSPENSION TEMPORAIRE DE SAE BRUSSELS - ACTIVITES EDUCATIONNELLES SUR CAMPUS

Dear members of the SAE Institute Brussels community,

We would like to inform you that following the measures of the Belgian government and in an effort to contribute to avoiding the spread of COVID-19, on-campus activities are partly re-opening as of June 29th, as detailed below. Please read all safety measures in detail here.

How does this affect teaching?

Setting as priority the safety of our staff and students and the quality of education we offer, we have transferred the teaching & learning process to an online environment, offering the students a virtual experience (#SAEonline). Blended learning will continue to be our priority in the next months.
On-campus activities are restricted, as of June 29th and until further notice, to student practical assignments, specific tasks and workshops only.
Access to the campus will be allowed on prior appointment only and any non-essential activity of any kind will be held remotely. Our students and staff are receiving regular updates via email about the operation of our campus. SAE Institute Brussels has a dedicated responsible team handling all relevant topics and it is ready to provide support and guidance to our students and staff.

How can you contact us now or enrol?

Regarding our partners and prospective students, our Study Advisors remain available to your service. You can contact us from Monday - Friday from 10:00h to 17:00h (email or phone: admissions.brussels@sae.edu | +32 (0)2 647 92 20). Admissions for all upcoming intakes are open. We will be happy to give you information on our education programs and offer you a Virtual Meeting session

What should you do about coronavirus?

The best way to prevent potential cases in our local communities is to follow the published guidance of the National Security Council, particularly around social distancing and maintaining good standards of hygiene.

In order to feel fully reassured and also up to date with all government communication as well, we also recommend registering on Be-alert – the official website created by the Belgian Government for emergency situations – so you stay updated with the latest news and be informed in due time in case of urgent measures that you might need to take based on the location you are at.

Basic protective measures against the new coronavirus:

Wash your hands frequently
Maintain social distancing
Avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth
Practice respiratory hygiene
If you have fever, cough and difficulty breathing, seek medical care early
Stay informed and follow advice given by your healthcare provider

Support each other and #FightCovid19Together

We are aware there are people who may be feeling vulnerable and anxious at this time. This virus does not discriminate - and neither do we. Ours must be a culture of empathy, compassion and support first and foremost.

We wish everyone to stay safe, calm and creative. Looking forward to meeting you soon on our campus.
