Creative media students kick-start their studies at SAE thanks to new scholarship
SAE is proud to announce that eight creative individuals will have had their dream of studying at the Institute realised thanks to the new 40 Years Anniversary Scholarship Programme.
After receiving numerous scholarship applications for our September 2017 intake, SAE would officially like to applaud the eight awarded students on the success of their application.
The recipients were chosen from a number of strong applicants, after providing the best response to the statement: "Creativity is about making mistakes, art is knowing which ones to keep."
Natalia Giorgi, who will study a Bachelor of Film Production at our Glasgow campus said the scholarship worth £3000, has inspired her to fully pursue her passion.
“In the back of my mind I know that [film] is what I love doing and it will work out, but sometimes I am scared it won’t. So this scholarship to me is more than just a great financial aid, it is a confirmation, an exhortation to keep working towards my goals.”
Meanwhile fellow recipient Filippo Guarna, also expressed a similar sentiment:
“This awareness heightens my hopes, fueling my passion and strengthening my hunger of expressing through art, which has never been as intense as now.”
“I'm grateful to SAE for this opportunity and I can't wait to get back to work, using the academic path that awaits me as a tool of both artistic and personal development.”
