SAE London is delighted to invite you to guest talk with Sue Turbett on Wednesday, 16 May. 

This talk is for anyone who wants to get a job in media production whether you want to be a Script Writer, Cameraman, Audio Engineer or Film Director. Using examples from her career at the BBC and the corporate sector Sue will give top tips for starting your career – the job application process, how to present yourself, what you can expect to do and why networking is so important. There will be an opportunity to ask Sue any questions you have in a Q&A session at the end.

About Sue Turbett

Sue worked as a Producer, Director and Journalist for BBC TV News and Current Affairs for over 20 years. She produced and directed a wide range of TV programmes including Newsnight with Jeremy Paxman and the 10 o’clock news with Huw Edwards and Fiona Bruce. She then went on to work at one of the UK’s leading corporate communication agencies where she worked with some of the UK’s biggest businesses on their video communications. Sue now runs her own video production business working with a wide range of corporate clients.
