SAE has produced an array of immensely talented graduates over the years, including Miami-based music entrepreneur Christian Cooley.
After graduating from SAE London in 2008, the audio alumnus moved to Mexico City where he set up his own post-production recording company.
“Our clients were mainly advertising agencies,” Mr Cooley told SAE.
“The company grew and grew, so in 2013 I decided to move to Miami where I’m now currently based.”
“I then changed the company name to Bamyasi Studios, as we weren’t just doing sound design for advertising but also music production for film and television.”
Four years later, and Christian’s Bamyasi is now a major heavyweight amongst Florida’s audio scene, boasting Cadillac, Olay and Coors Brewing Company as clients.
“Our idea was to create a micro community and share businesses. We see it as a new recording studio model.”
Christian is currently working on a collaborative music project called Leitvox, inviting musicians like Ilan Rubin (Nine Inch Nail drummer), Ladytron, GusGus, UNKLE, Nortec, among others to participate in it.
