Chris made his first steps in music and technology at the early age of 6 and has been revolving around these topics ever since. Areas of interest and expertise include music composition and performance, music technology, audio production, sound design and software development. Collectively, he has performed with orchestras and groups around Europe and worked as a freelance sound designer, musician, software developer and lecturer/tutor for over 20 years.
Chris holds a doctorate degree in Sound Design (PhD), two masters degrees (MA, MSc) in Postproduction and Music Technology, and undergraduate degrees/diplomas in classical music, software development and multimedia programming. His studies have resulted in a number of publications and he is actively involved in research related to audiovisual perception, sound design and cinematic sound.
