MAKE A DOCUMENTARY IN 8 WEEKS
This short intensive course will provide you with the technical skills to produce a short documentary film, while developing the creative and theoretical aspects of ethical filmmaking.
This course explores all components of documentary film production including research, scriptwriting, directing, producing, interview techniques, camera operation, sound, production design, editing and colour correction. The course culminates with the production of a short documentary film, providing you the opportunity to put into practice all the skills and theories as you learn them.
At the end of the course, you will graduate with IMDb credit, a press kit and a DVD of your film.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND
This course is aimed at people who have some experience in filmmaking and are looking to upskill through project based learning. It is highly recommended for students who want to apply for further study in filmmaking.
FOLLOW UP COURSES
You should bring a notebook, pen and sketchbook to classes. You may also want to bring with you a camera and laptop or tablet, however these are not essential.
