Film Production Basics - Grip, Dolly and Crane

Expand your production skills and become an expert grip technician through our hands-on course designed by experienced film professionals.

Over two-days, you will cover not only the technical aspects of grip equipment, in particular the Dolly and Crane, but also how it increases the aesthetic quality of film.

Covering everything from setting up the grip, its use in shoots, how to operate it with precision, as well as health and safety on set, you will finish this course with advanced film technician skills. You’ll also receive plenty of feedback from our tutors during the course, and a chance to view and analyse your work as you learn.

You will graduate this course with a certificate and a copy of the film you shoot.
