8th December 2009

Starting in September 2010 the SAE Institute will offer a new diploma course at all its branches in Germany. In the course Digital Journalism students will learn the basics of the work as a journalist and the technical skills of digital reporting as well as photography and the shooting of film footage, editing of sound and video, podcasting and blogging. The goal of the course is to enable the participants to create production pieces of superior content and technical quality.

The Digital Journalist is always on the go and produces his pieces right where the events occur, and then immediately publishes them online. The demand for mobile reporters will continue to increase in the coming years as it becomes more and more important for news services and corporate companies to publish news and reports  immediately and directly online. Information overload is on the rise and corporate companies, media companies, publishers, online portals, and radio and TV stations can only make themselves heard and rise above the crowd by delivering high-quality content. The importance of Online-PR/ public relations for corporate communications is growing, even for small and mid-sized companies. This course is the best possible preparation for an exciting career in the field of online communications.
